Death
Randy Dale Furr, 71, passed away peacefully at home on October 20, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 26, 1954, in Davidson County, North Carolina, Randy spent his life creating lasting memories with those around him. Throughout his life, Randy showcased a wide variety of interests that reflected his personality. He found joy in fishing at City Lake Park with his friends, appreciated the beauty of gardening, and enjoyed exploring flea markets. A true enthusiast of vintage automobiles, Randy had a passion for fast antique cars. Randy's legacy will live on through his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Luann Vestal Furr, who lovingly stood by his side throughout their life together. He is also survived by his children: Dale Furr of Lexington, Michelle Tonn and her husband Sonha, also of Lexington, Jane Furr Brady of Linwood, and Crysta Davison of Lexington. His grandchildren include Whitney Tonn, Nikki Chau, Russell Brady, Montana Heitman, and Warren Walker, along with four great-grandchildren who brought even more light into his life. He is also survived by his brother, Victor Furr, residing in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. His loyal four-legged companion was his German Shepherd, Lucy, who brought immense happiness to his life. Randy was predeceased by his parents, George Furr and Lucy Parks Furr, who provided him with a loving foundation. To honor and celebrate Randy's life, a Celebration of Life service will take place at the Journey Church of Lexington, located at 61 Biesecker Rd, Lexington, NC 27295, on November 2, 2025, starting at 3:00 PM with the Reverend Mark Rachels officiating. Randy Dale Furr will be remembered for his warm spirit, his passion for life, and the deep love he shared with those who had the privilege of knowing him.Endnotes
