Death
Betty “Betsy” Hedspeth Furr, 79 of 406 E. Simmons Ave., died Monday, April 6, 2020 at McGregor Downs Health and Rehab Center in Greenville. Betsy was born on August 20, 1940 in Halifax County to the late Julian P. and Josephine Hall Hedspeth. She was retired from Perdue where she worked in the accounting department. Betsy attended the 2nd Baptist Church in Washington. Survivors include, daughter, Christina F. Bullock (Clay) of Williamston; brother, Bob Hedspeth of Ohio; grandchildren, Brianna and Brittney Bullock. Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Conway Cemetery in Conway, NC, with Rev. Chris Minton officiating. The family will be receiving friends from the home, 406 E. Simmons Ave. Walker Funeral Home of Williamston is serving the Furr family.Endnotes
