Death

Hank Williams Furr, age 51, of 321 Country Club Drive, Asheboro died Saturday, September 10, 2005 at his home in Asheboro. Mr. Furr was born January 25, 1954 in Moore County, NC the son of Lonnie and Mary Lee McCrimmon Furr. Mr. Furr was the greens superintendent at the Asheboro Municipal Golf Course for over 31 years. He is survived by daughter: Carla Furr of Ramseur, NC; son: Hank Overman of Asheboro, NC; two grandchildren; sisters: Mary Jane Furr and Dorothy Luck both of Asheboro, NC; brothers: Lonnie Furr of Randleman, NC; David Furr and Arthur Furr both of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends Monday, September 12, 2005 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marion Smith officiating. Memorials may be made to Hospice Of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204-0009.
