Death
Billie Kain, 83, of Ft. Worth passed away September 5, 2010 in Santa Fe, N.M. Billie was born July 30, 1927 in Kirkland, Texas to Walter and Maude Furr. She was employed and later retired from Cornwall-Stevens of Lubbock. While living in Fort Worth, she was a member of Aborlawn United Methodist Church and was a sorority sister of Beta Sigma Phi. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maude and Walter Furr, and her daughter, Sheri Henderson. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Debbie Rubin and husband Moe of Ft. Worth, Lisa Powell Watts and husband Craig of Brenham, and Susan Martinez and husband Eduardo of Santa Fe, N.M. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. September 11, 2010 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Price officiating. Interment will be at Kirkland Cemetery.The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, September 10, 2010
