Death
Parks McNitt Elliott, 2356 Dellwood Drive NW, died Sunday in a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Spring Hill with Dr. W. I. Howell officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery. Born in Mecklenburg County, N.C, Mr. Elliott was the retired superintendent of mails of the Monroe, N.C., Post Office. A post office employe for 43 years, he moved to Atlanta upon retirement in 1960. Mr. Elliott was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the Atlanta First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Clara Furr; a son, P. M. Elliott Jr., Atlanta; two daughters, Mrs. Eldon Brewster and Mrs. Robert J. Taylor III, both of Atlanta; a sister, Mrs. Charles Gunther, Atlantic City, N.J., and two brothers, Ralph W. Elliott, Monroe, N.C., and Wyatt B.
