Death
Earl Raymond Anderson, age 85, of Morrilton, Arkansas, died Sunday, March 27, 2005. He was born April 13, 1919, in Atkins, Arkansas, a son of Edwin R. Anderson and Jewell Chronister Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a pharmacologist, Mason for over 50 years, member of Masonic Lodge No. 238, Scottish Rite, Scimitar Shrine, Order of Eastern Star, and Union Valley Baptist Church, where he served as prayer chairman. He is survived by his wife, Erma Furr Anderson; two sons, Earl Raymond Anderson, Jr. and wife Dianne of New Castle, Delaware and Richard Edwin Anderson and wife Pam of Longview, Texas; brother, Hays C. Anderson and wife Mabry of Cypress, Texas; sister, Peggy A. Dupree of Bellevue, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Frankie Furr of North Little Rock; three grandchildren, Greg Anderson, Kelly Little, and Mark Anderson; two great-granddaughters, Emily Anderson and Abigail Anderson; numerous nieces and nephews, and Barbara Bryant, his caregiver, for many years. Funeral services will be 1 pm. Wednesday, March 30, at Union Valley Baptist Church with Bro. Stan Wallace officiating. The committal service will be 3:30 p.m. at Edgewood Cemetery in North Little Rock by Harris Funeral Home of Perryville. Pallbearers will be Robert Johnson, Kenneth Brandon, Jim Newman, Buddy Metcalf, Eugene Tindle, and Steve Tolley.
