Death

Malcolm E. Bryant, 85, of Anna, passed away Oct. 23 in Sherman. He was born May 11, 1919, in Walnut Grove Community, Prosper to Eugene and Lottie (Furr) Bryant. On May 9, 1975, he married Katy Montgomery in Anna. He worked for Collin Memorial Hospital in the maintenance department and was of the Presbyterian faith. He is survived by his step-daughter, Lynda Rollins and step-son, Randy Cook, both of Anna; 8 step-grandchildren and 8 step-great grandchildren; and cousin, Gayle Stafford of Stamford. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 26 at Walnut Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Ed Lance officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Directors.
