Death

Services for Mrs. Mildred O’Kelly, 38, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Gaskill Funeral Chapel. Dr. Lowell D, Milburn, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Wewoka. Mrs. O'Kelly died at 8:15 a.m. Thursday in an Oklahoma City hospital. She had been in Shawnee for the past month helping her parents move in to a new home, since her father had retired. She and her husband been living in Denver, Colo., until recently, when they were preparing to move to Hennessey, Okla. Mrs. O’Kelly became ill about two weeks ago. She was born Nov. 27, 1923 in Sulphur. She lived in Sulphur as a child and later lived in Muskogee, where she was a bookkeeper for the Griffith Grocery several years. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband, Robert L. O’Kelly, Hennessey, Okla.; a daughter, Mrs. Darrel Mutschler, Stinnett, Tex.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Dawson, 215 W. 35th; and a granddaughter, Holly Sue Mutschler, Stinnett, Tex.
