Death
Anna Boyce McInvaille, age 91, widow of Grover C. McInvaille, and formerly of 600 N. Broad St., died Sunday, July 25, 2004, at Presbyterian Home in Lexington. She was born in Clinton, and was a daughter of the late John Broadus and Minnie Matthews Boyce. Mrs. McInvaille was a retired employee of Clinton Mills, was a member and former teacher of the Women's Bible Class at Rock Bridge Presbyterian Church, and also was a member of the Eastern Star, James B. Parrott Chapter #9. Surviving are her daughter, Peggy McInvaille Furr, of Lancaster; sisters, Gladys Neal, of Greenwood, Pauline Hughes, of Lexington, and Ruby Cooper, of Clinton; brothers, Thomas Boyce, of Spartanburg, Wallace Boyce, of Clinton, and Earle Boyce, of Clinton; grandchildren, Kathy M. Kerr, of LaGrange, Ga., Amelia Furr Ruple, of Lexington, Lisa G. Furr, of Richmond, Va., Holly Furr Adamson, of Lancaster, Bruce Furr, of Columbia, Suzanne Furr Harper, of Lancaster; and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Charles Thomas McInvaille; and a brother, Clarence Boyce. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at Rock Bridge Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
