NEWPORT NEWS — Kathy Marie Taylor Furr, 36, died Saturday, Sept. 16, in Riverside Regional Convalescent Center. A native of Newport News, Mrs. Furr was a member of Hidenwood Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her husband, Jerry W. Furr; two daughters, Paula M. Furr and Audrey L. Furr, both of the home; one son, Keith W. Furr of the home; her mother, Pauline Taylor of Newport News; and one sister, Sandra T. Shell of Winston-Salem, N.C. A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday at Hampton Memorial Gardens by the Revs. Harold J. McKeithen and Woodrow Rea.The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Peninsula Funeral Home.Endnotes
