Death

Ardena Grace (Hester) loving mother and grandmother, passed away Dec. 17, 2003 at her home in Oklahoma City. Born Dec. 24, 1914 in Waldron, A.R. At the age of 2 she moved with her family to Jones, OK and then to Choctaw, OK where her father was a blacksmith. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles Ethelbert Hester and Lola Myrtle Reavis, husbands Wiley Orlen Furr and Harry Sharpe, son Robert Furr, brothers Robert, Jack, Howard, Joe, Noel, and sister Thelma Volz. She is survived by daughters Wyladean Gabel, and Marietta Doucet, sons Toy Furr, and Roger Sharpe. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, Dec. 20th at the Sunny Lane Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
