FURR, Sara Mrs. Sara D. Furr, age 91, of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Simmion and Annie Ruth Dorrough; husband, Max Gordon Furr; son, Bobby Furr; daughter in-law, Delores Furr; granddaughter, Lisa Harkins and is survived by her sons, Gordon Furr and his wife Gloria of Tyrone; Larry Furr of Fayetteville; daughter in-law, Kay Furr of Fairburn; sisters, Betty Jean Wright of LaGrange, Helen Norton of Fairburn; grandchildren, Kimberly Steadham (Daniel), Tracy Furr, Jennifer Zellner (Chad), Jill Babb (Barry); great grandchildren, Aubrey Heard, Danielle Sewell, Jeremy Steadham, Jared Babb (Maggie), Jacob Babb, Josh Babb, Zach Zellner, Cassidy Zellner, Jack Harkins, Bonnie Harkins; great-great grandchildren, Luke Babb, Alyxis Sewell and Landyn Sewell. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 2 o'clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Dr. Jimmy Orr officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Parrott Funeral Home and Crematory, 770-964-4800.Endnotes
