CONCORD — Robert Augusta Furr, 67, a retired textile worker, died Saturday. Funeral is 3 p.m. Tuesday at the New Hope Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors are wife, Alma; sons, Billy R. Furr, Herman Furr, Larry Furr: half brother, Charlie Barnhardt of Monroe. Hartsell is in charge.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, March 28, 1977
