NASHVILLE, Ark.-Rodney Waide Furr, 35, of Nashville died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004, in a Texarkana hospital. Mr. Furr was born June 28, 1969, in Nashville. He was a self-employed carpenter and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his mother, Burley Jo Byrom Furr. Survivors include his wife, Karen Furr of Nashville; two stepchildren, Brady Murphy and Faith Miller of Nashville; his father, Jimmy Furr of Nashville; two brothers; Gregory Furr of Mineral Springs, Ark., and Curtis Furr of Nashville; his grandmothers, Grace Byrom of Mineral Springs and Hazel Furr of Irving, Texas; one nephew, Slade Furr; and a number of other relatives and friends. Services will be 2 p.m. today at County Line Activity Center with David Blase, James Spradling and Bruce Short officiating. Burial will be in County Line Cemetery under direction of Nashville Funeral Home. Visitation and lunch will be 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Peach Shed, Murfreesboro Highway.
