3rd Monday of Jan 1795 - 1:69 HENRY FURRER, an orphan of Jacob FURRER, dec'd, shall be hired to Henry FURRER, his uncle, until he attains the age of 21 for which Henry FURRER is to pay the said Henry FURRER, the sum of 7 pounds and byside 3 pounds what the law directs for apprentices in that case.
Wednesday Oct 22, 1794 1:65 Ordered that the Estate of Jacob FURRER, dec'd shall be brought to final settlement and Joseph SHINN and Daniel JARRET, Esqs, are appointed to settle same.
1:84 Mathias MICHEL is appointed guardian of Mary FURRER, an orphan child of Jacob FURRER, dec'd, and was bound for sum of 50 pounds.

Last Will & Testament of Henry Furr deceased
In the name of God Amen I Henry Furr, of the State of South Carolina & District of Abbeville, being of sound mind and disposing memory and calling to mind the uncertainty of life and being desirous to dispose of all such worldly goods as it hath pleased Almighty God to bless me with (do make & ordain this my last will and Testament in manner & form following I give & Bequeath unto my beloved wife Elizabeth five hundred Dollars & her bed bedstead & furniture her saddle a white Chest and a small trunk. Unto my son Eanoch I have already given property & money to the amount of five hundred dollars of he is in possession Unto my daughter Mary I have likewise given property & mon and money to the amount of five hundred dollars of whcih she is in possession.
Unto my daughter Susannah Catherine I give & bequeath six hundred and fifty dollars and one Bed bedstead and furniture one blue Chest & some small trunk, I wish said daughter to gt one years schooling more for which reason I have given her the one hundred & fifty dollars more than each of the others.
Further it is my will that all my property be sold after the present crop i smade including my lnad which I direct to be sold to the highest bidder without any application to Court for an Order to sell, the land to be sold at a credit of one, two & three years equal instalments by my Executor hereafter named, the other property at credit of twelve months and after paying the above legacies an equal division between my wife and my three children above Named, I hereby appoint John Scott my Executor of this my last will & testament who I impower to make titles to the land when last payment is made, and revoking all other Wills by me heretofore made Signed sealed and Acknowledged in presence of us this 22nd day of Nov 1836
