CONCORD — Mr. Lum Croson Furr, 81, retired carpenter, died Nov. 1, 1989, at home. Funeral is 11 a.m. today at Oak Ridge Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife, Ruby; sons, J.C. Furr of Stanfield, Bobby Furr; daughters, Mrs. Rachel Helms of Charlotte, Mrs. Geneva Garmon of Easley, S.C., Mrs. Lucille McDonald, Mrs. Avie Helms; brother, Lumus Furr of Stanfield; sisters, Mrs. Maude Green of Monroe, Mrs. Emma Morgan, Mrs. Ruby Hopkins, both of Stanfield.
