Death

Funeral services for David Conrad Furr, two-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. B. Z. Furr Jr. of 3215 Monroe Road, who died late yesterday, were held this afternoon at 3:30 at Yandle-Weathers Funeral home. The Rev. H. L. Reaves, pastor of Commonwealth Avenue Presbyterian Church was in charge of the services. He was assisted by Dr. Howard P. Powell of Dilworth Methodist Church. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were uncles of the child, James Conrad, Carol, Boyette Furr, Pat Hall, and David Phillips. Survivors are the parents a sister, Jackie Marie; grandmother, Mrs. Carrie E. Furr; and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Goodrum, all of Charlotte The Charlotte News, Charlotte, North Carolina, November 11, 1941
