Death
CONCORD — Betty Jean Furr Motley, 65, of 6331 Corl Road, Concord, died Monday, April 14, 2003, at her home. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. today at Carolina Memorial Park. The Rev. Dr. Kinny Wallace will officiate. The family will greet friends at the grave site following the graveside service at the cemetery. The family will meet at the home of Sue Motley, 6331 Corl Road, Concord. Born Dec. 20, 1937, in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late Lena Huneycutt Furr and Robert Wilson Furr. She was married to the late Lewis E. Motley. She had worked as a secretary. She is survived by a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cabarrus County, P.O. Box 1235, Concord, N.C. 28026. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is handling the arrangements.Endnotes
