Death
Mr. Thomas Jennings Furr, 33, of Charlotte, died Tuesday September 3, 2002 at home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday September 6, 2002 at Forest Lawn East Cemetery with the Reverend Ray Hardee officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Mr. Furr was born on June 19, 1969 in Mecklenburg County to Ronald Jennings Furr and Lillian Jane Broome Clark. He worked as a machinist. He enjoyed building bird houses and loved animals. Thomas will be deeply missed. His survivors include, parents, Ronald Jennings Furr of Charlotte and Lillian Jane Broome Clark and husband Randy of Monroe, daughter, Ashley Nicole Furr of Midland, sister, Tamera Jane Melton and husband Tommy of Monroe, aunts and uncles, Sandra and Fred McAnulty, Carol Gay, George and Sandy Broome, Betty Sue and Bobby Humphries, Richard and Henrietta Furr. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations for his daughter, Ashley Nicole Furr, be sent c/o Tamera Melton 509 Arcadia Lane, Monroe, N.C. 28112.
