Death
CONCORD - Mrs. Margaret Armstrong Furr, 84, of 286 Misenheimer Drive N.W., passed away Monday morning at her home. Although no funeral services are planned, the family will be receiving friends at the home. Margaret was born Feb. 13, 1924, in Cabarrus County, to the late George W. and Wincie Weaver Armstong. She was a homemaker and a member of Ann Street United Methodist Church. Margaret also was preceded in death by her husband, Ray E. Furr. Margaret is survived by her son, Charles R. Furr of the home; sisters, Annie Benton and Virginia Johnson, both of Kannapolis; brother, George Armstrong Jr. of Sunset Beach. Memorials may be sent to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
