Death

Mrs. Mary DeLarmey Wilson, 77, of Daugherty road on China Grove Route 2 died at 12:20 a. m. today at her home. In declining health 10 months, she was seriously ill six weeks. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p. m. in Whitley’s Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. James Hatley of Concord Lake Baptist Church. The body will remain at Whitley’s and the family will receive friends there today from 7 until 9 p. m. Mrs. Wilson was a life-long resident of Cabarrus and Rowan counties and was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church at Concord. Her husband, James Lee Wilson, died several years ago. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Louise Castor of China Grove; one son, Sam M. Wilson of Raleigh; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
