Death

Mrs. Doris Hazell Wells, wife of T. W. Wells, died at her home at 148 Wilson Street here yesterday afternoon after an illness of five weeks. She was 18 years old. Funeral services were to be conducted at the residence at 4:30 o'clock this afternoon with Rev. Linwood Jacobs, pastor of the Church of God, officiating. Interment was to be in Laurelwood cemetery. Mrs. Wells was born in York county, a daughter of Mrs. Frances Furr and the late Pelzer Furr, both natives of this county. She had been married for two years. Surviving are her husband and her mother, Mrs. Frances Gordon Furr, both of Rock Hill.
