This William Eudy has a will dated 26 Mar 1866 which lists these heirs: son Ransom, daughter Jane, wife of Wiley Thomas; Kisiah wife of George Whitley; son John; Elizabeth wife of Alison Whitley; Lucy wife of Enoch Curlee; son Jacob; Malichi's heirs, William and Ransom; Sally wife of Ransom Furr; Polly wife of William Cariker. This lists 10 children, but he doesn't list William and James who are in the 1850 census.

This Indenture made this 30th day of Mar AD 1855 between William Eudy & wife Sabra, Hastin Hatley & Barbaba (Basheba) his wife, Jacob Green & Mary his wife, Paul S. Furr & Sarah his wife, Maza Harwood, Wiley Hatley, Keziah Harwood, Hardy Green & Abigail Green his wife's heirs (to wit) John Barba & Faraba his wife, Caleb Osborn & Mary his wife, Martha Green, Sabra Green, Jacob Green & Elbert Green, all of the county of Stanly except John Barba of the county of Cabarrus & all of the state of N. Carolina of the first part and Ransom Furr of the county of Stanly & state of N. Carolina of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for & in consideration of the sum of one hundred & fifty dollars to the said part of the first part in hand paid by the said party of the second part......conveyed....certain parcel of land in said county...100 acres of land..to said party of the second part...& the said party of the first part being the heirs of the said Malachi Harwood dest.....
