Death

Leroy Tidmore, 74, of Pine Bluff, died Saturday, October 28, 2000 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born February 9, 1926 in Dardanelle to John and Dove Bullard Furr, but was raised by Sharp and Sally Tidmore. He has been employed by Central Maloney for 38 years prior to retirement. He had also worked in maintenance at UAPB. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Witt and Viverian McVay. The family will be at his daughter's home at 117 Main Street, Sherrill, Arkansas. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Rector Tidmore of Pine Bluff; one son, Gary Tidmore of Pine Bluff; one sister, Gladys Crow of Searcy; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2000, in the chapel of Cranford Funeral Home of White Hall with Reverend Thomas Morris and Donnie Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Flat Bayou Cemetery by Cranford Funeral Home of White Hall. The pallbearers will be Sylvain Lawson, Larry Hubanks, George Abshere, Randy Sanders, Lynn Gober and Charles Powell.
