Now for the life of Roscoe Furr with Christine. they lived in Ashe County, NC, as a couple. Self employed with their own store and produce stand for most of 1960-1980, but then for unknown reasons they decided it was time to move to Wilkes County, NC, where then they lived in several different communities in Wilkes County, but as the youngest twins whom 1 is my husband Wayne and his twin Ann approached their high school years in the 1990's, they settled into a home that the family built in the Mulberry Mills area of Wilkes County. They lived in the small family home til both their death in 2001. They passed on 21 days apart of each other. Roscoe passed in Feb. 2001, from stomach cancer, and Christine passed on in March 2001, from emphysema.

Roscoe and Christine was never registered married but they were comon lawed married they lived over 42 years together. They had named Remondia and Roscoe Bumgarner's because they wanted to have each last names that is what Christine herself told me several years ago.
