Death
DANVILLE — Verdell Alma Furr, 75, of Danville died Thursday, Aug. 19, at her home. Born Nov. 27, 1928, at Alma, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Stone, and a member of Plainview Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was a retired waitress, having worked at Old South Restaurant in Russellville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Furr Jr.; and a son, Danny Furr. Survivors include a daughter, Lynn Plummer of Russellville; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at Moore’s Hill Cemetery at Centerville. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Service. Pallbearers include Larry Crone, Buster Crone, Tony Crone, William Crone, Danny Furr and Bruce Burchard.The Courier, Russellville, Arkansas, August 21, 2004
