Death
EDNA — Chester B. Henry, 73, was pronounced dead on arrival Tuesday at about 5:30 at the Coffeyville Memorial Hospital following a heart attack at his home in South Coffeyville. A retired farmer, he had been in failing health several years. No immediate relatives survive. A cousin, Buford Henry of Missouri, had been visiting at his home. His wife, parents and a sister preceded him in death. Born in Lincoln County, Mo. Dec. 10, 1891, Henry moved with the family to Oklahoma in 1901. He came to Kansas from Tonkawa, Okla., in 1944 and bought a farm home about one-half mile southeast of Edna. He lived there about 10 years before moving to Bartlett. Later, in 1958, he moved to South Coffeyville. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Goodwin Funeral Home in Edna with the Rev. Robert Pick officiating. Graveside rites will be conducted by Edna Lodge AF&AM No. 345, of which he was a member. Burial will be in the North Edna Cemetery.The Parsons Sun, Parsons, Kansas, September 22, 1965
