Death
Mr. William F. Furr, 92, of Roswell Georgia, passed away on January 23rd, 2020. William was born on March 5th, 1927 to Luther Franklin and Willie Mae Hill Furr. Mr. Furr graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in Personnel Management and went on to own The Furr Company in Coral Gables, Florida. When he wasn’t running his company, William enjoyed singing in the Coral Gables Methodist and Hillside Methodist choirs, traveling, golfing, and volunteering with Meals on Wheels. Mr. Furr is preceded in death by his father and mother; first wife, Emily Virginia Furr; and second wife, Lois Williams Furr.He is survived by, sons, Bill Furr (Cherri) and Paul Furr (Kim); Step Daughter, Leslie Proctor (John); Grandson, Geoff (Molly); Granddaughter, Allison Banks (Brad); Great Grandsons, Jackson and Walker Banks; and Great Grandaughter, Camryn Furr. All family and friends are welcome to partake in honoring Mr. William F. Furr on Tuesday, January 28th, 2020 at 9:00 AM. The services will take place at Roswell Funeral Home and Green Lawn Cemetery.Endnotes
