Debbie Veronica Hinson Leslie, age 54 of Grubb Drive, Denton died Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Leslie was born in Stanly County April 4, 1957 to Billy Wade Hinson, Sr. and Joyce Christine Page Hinson. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her mother and a daughter, Ariel Furr. She is survived by fiancé, Randall Blanton of Denton; daughters, Chanda Smith of Salisbury and Emery Carter of Denton; sons, Dray Carter of Albemarle and Gaden Burleson of Denton; father, Billy Wade Hinson, Sr. of Concord; sisters, Kathy Baldwin of Huntersville and Amy Hinson of Albemarle; brothers, Billy Hinson, Jr. and Tim Hinson, both of Albemarle; and grandchildren, Dalton Smith, Dillion Smith, Trinity Napier, Leora Smith, Makaela Robinson, and Brayden Carter. Cremation services were provided by Briggs Funeral Home.
