1850 census household includes Margaret Myers, age 70, born Virginia, and Archibald Shoe, age 13, born North Carolina.

1870 census household includes Mary Shoe, age 13.

Need information on Harmon Myers/Moyers. He was in Mecklenburg Co, NC in 1790, Cabarrus Co in 1800, Montgomery Co, NC in 1810; died in Stanly Co, NC c1842. Nathan Starnes was admr. of his estate. Nathan Starnes was married to Margaret Myers. Harmon Myers probably had a son, David Myers, and a daughter Elizabeth Myers who married David Shue/Shoe in 1821, Mecklenburg Co. David Shue died in Stanly Co before 1846. These families lived along the border of western Stanly Co and eastern Cabarrus Co. Contact with descendants, or any information welcomed. Would like to learn the parents of Harmon Myers/Moyers. Thank you. 1/98
