Death
Special to the Charlotte Observer. Concord, Aug. 1. Mrs. Madison Furr, 66, died at 7 o'clock this morning at her home near Cold Springs church following an illness of 11 days. Death was due to infection. Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock tomorrow morning at Cold Spring church, of which she was a life-long member. Mrs. Furr, a native of Cabarrus county, was twice married, her first husband being the late William Honeycutt. To this union three children were born, Mrs. Fred Joyner of Bennettsville, S. C., Mrs. Pearl Little of this county, and an infant which died many years ago. Her second husband and the following children, James, Lewis and George Furr, Mrs. M. C. Bost and Misses Myrtie and Jessie Furr, and 16 grandchildren, survive.Endnotes
