Death

LOCUST - Eugene Webster Morgan, 71, of 120 Forrest Drive, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005, at his home. Mr. Morgan was born Dec. 26, 1933, in Union County, the son of the late Clyde Morgan and the late Emma Furr Morgan. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and had been employed as an electrician by Eagle Electric Company, Charlotte. He was a member of Kinza Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Ida Faye Morgan of the home; son, Robert Eugene Morgan of Locust; brother, Loyd Morgan of Pasadena, Md.; sisters, Rose Ann Parks and Hazel Barbee of Stanfield; and grandson, Wesley Morgan of Albemarle. No services are scheduled. Family and friends are welcome to come by the home anytime to pay their respects. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 N. First St., Albemarle, NC 28001. Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland is serving the Morgan family.
