MIDLAND — Margaret Leona Bogle Furr, 79, of Hopewell Church Road, died at 5:30 am May 9, 1989, at Charlotte Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at Mill Grove United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Dean Shields. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will be at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland from 7 to 9 tonight. Born Sept 4, 1910, in Salisbury, Mrs. Furr was a daughter of the late Harvey and Harriet Elizabeth Albright Bogle. Retired from Allison Manufacturing Co. in Stanfield, she was a member of Mill Grove United Methodist Church. Her husband, Carl Homer Furr, preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Carl Furr Jr of Charlotte and Jimmy Furr of Midland, a daughter, Judy Clark of Garden City Beach, SC, four brothers, Carl, Roy, Homer and Edward Bogle, all of Salisbury, two sisters, Hallie Dobbins of Salisbury and Louise Shenk of Surf City, seven grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
