Death

Annie Lee Bottoms Furr, age 75 of Douglasville, passed away, Friday, January 04, 2013. She was born May 13, 1937 in Cumming, GA to the late James Thomas Bottoms and Ruby Annie Lee Stephens Bottoms. She worked during her career in food service as a waitress and also cashier for the Ingles Grocery Store. She was Baptist by faith. In addition to her parents, James Thomas Bottoms and Ruby Annie Lee Stephens Bottoms, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Jamie Colleen Bearden, brothers, Harry Royce Bottoms and John Benjamin Bottoms. Survivors are her son: Emmett Daniel Furr, II of Winder, GA; daughter & son-in-law: Deborah Lynn and Robert Pope of Tampa, FL; daughter: Teresa Ann Criswell of Douglasville; brother: Hugh Thomas Bottoms of Winder, GA.; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 3:00 PM from the Douglasville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 4028 Highway Five, Douglasville, GA, with Rev. Chris Parkin officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Douglasville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. In accordance with her wishes, her body will be cremated.
