Death
Sandra Furr Deese, 64, of Concord, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005. Born April 25, 1941 in Gilford County, she was the daughter of the late Clifton Clark Arrants and Margaret Barrington Arrants. Mrs. Deese worked in maintenance at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. She was a member of Roberta United Methodist Church in Concord. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jiles Henry Furr; a son, Randy Clark Furr; and a stepson, James Henry Furr. Survivors include her husband, Slater Deese of Concord; two sons, Ralph Jeffrey Furr and Eric Furr, both of Concord; brother, Jerry Arrants of Fayetteville; stepdaughters, Felicia Forest of Kannapolis and Kim Deese of Mooresville; and grandchildren, Cody and Jamy Furr. Graveside services were held Saturday, Aug. 13 at Roberta United Methodist Church in Concord. Memorials may be made to the family.Endnotes
