Emmaline had an illigetimate child by the name of Donnie, Dawney Haigler, as my grandfather Lambert told the family. In 1880, Emmaline had a Madison K. Hagler living in the house with her as a farm hand. Possibly the father of that child? The only reference that I could find to the effect of a Fred Furr, was that Frederick Furr witnessed the marriage of Emmaline to George Lambert. Could that have been where he got it? Maybe just an error in recording the data.
