Death
Annie Lillian Furr McCallum, 81, passed away August 15, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Union County in New Albany. She was born April 2, 1936 in Union County to the late James Clay and Eva Hankins Furr. She was the owner/operator of Owls Nest Ceramic Shop. She also volunteered for the Red Cross and was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be 3:30p.m. Friday, August 18, 2017 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Bro. Eugene Stockstill and Bro. Brownie Tohill officiating. Burial will be at Ebenezer Cemetery. United Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements. She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Stephens (Leo) and a son, Gary McCallum (Tammy), both of Hickory Flat. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Shelena Wray (Jeremy), John Raines (Tiffany), Candace Rowell (Justin), Chris Stephens (Shamecca), Chris Raines, Corey McCallum (Maegan), Amanda Dillard (Chance) and Homer Stephens (Anna Bell); and by ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband: S. E. 'Jack' McCallum. Pallbearers will be Chuck Williams, Talmadge Mills, Lance McCallum, Larry Whiteside, Frank Elliott, Jim Guy and Lawrence Mask. Honorary pallbearers will be Bubba Williams, Jennifer Lowery and her great grandchildren. Visitation will from 5:00 until 8:00 PM, Thursday, August 17, 2017 at United Funeral Service and 2:00 until 3:30 Friday, August 18, 2017 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Family ask that memorials be made to the Ebenezer Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
