Services for Lillian Kathryn Furr, 96, of Sherman who passed away on Monday, December 10, 2007 will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at 9:30AM at Dannel Funeral Home. Scottie Johnson will officiate. Mrs. Furr was born on June 27, 1911 in Clarksville, Texas the daughter of Robert Harris Anderson and Addie Crammer Anderson. On August 22, 1942 she married William Earl Furr in Reno, Nevada, they had celebrated 54 years together when Mr. Furr passed away on August 27, 1996. They traveled most every state including Alaska while employed by Western States Abestos and Local 16 of San Francisco, California. Lillian was a hairdresser for 50 years. She owned two salons in San Francisco, California and one in Marin County, California. She also was an artist and loved oil painting,collecting antiques, especially bisque dolls. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sherman , the Faith Class and the Four Seasons Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Earl. She is survived by her daughter Mary Kathryn Whisman, four grandchildren Heather, Katie Sara and Christopher; one great-grandchild Brooklyn; and several nieces and nephews.
