MOUNT PLEASANT — Mr. Doyle James “Jack’ Furr, 64, former Concrete Supply Co. truck driver, died July 24, 1994, in Morganton. Funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday at Gordon Funeral Home. Visitation is 7 to 8:30 tonight. Survivors are his son, Doyle Furr Jr. of Duluth, Ga.; brother, Larry Furr of Concord; sister, Mrs. Margie Burris.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, July 27, 1994
