Death
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from Hartman’s Funeral Home for Donnie Eben Furr, three year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Welmer Furr of Wesson, who passed away at the local hospital Saturday, the victim of a ruptured appendix. Dr. J. L. Neill, pastor of the First Methodist church officiated at the last rites which were attended by a large gathering of sympathizing friends of the bereaved family. Following the services the body of the precious baby was tenderly laid to rest in Rosehill cemetery under a mound of lovely flowers. Besides his parents, the little fellow is survived by an older brother, Kenneth, his grandparents, former Supervisor W. H. Furr and Mrs. Furr and Mr. and Mrs. Sartin who reside near Brookhaven and a number of other close relatives. Sympathy goes out to those bereaved. 2/12/1936Endnotes
