Death

Mrs. Jennie Sloan Furr, 72, widow of Junius M. Furr who died last January 16, dropped dead this morning about 8 o'clock at her home in Atwell township. The funeral will be held at Propect Presbyterian church tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. C. D. Denham. Interment will be in the church yard. The only immediate surviving relative is Mrs. I. C. Griffin of Chapel Hill, wife of the former superintendent of schools here. Mrs. Furr was the sister of the late Mrs. Clarence Bradshaw of Salisbury, mother of L. S., Dave, Sam and Ned Bradshaw, Mrs. Ray Sloop, Julia Bradshaw of Duke hospital and Mrs. H. I. Earle of Burlington. Mr. Furr was the brother of T. G. Furr, local attorney, and Rev. Walter E. and Clarence Furr, both of Mooresville.
