Death
ALBEMARLE — Mrs. Jewel Furr Herlocker, 59, of 143 S. Broom St., died at 8:30 pm Friday at her home. Funeral services will be at 3 pm Sunday at the Friendship United Methodist Church by the Rev. Hayward Morrison. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Albemarle. She was born Sept 2, 1915, in Stanly County to the late Matthew M. and Marv Sides Furr. She was the owner of Herlocker Oil Distributing Service in Albemarle. Survivors include one son, Phillip Herlocker of Albemarle, one daughter, Mrs. Lanny Rabon of Albemarle, one sister, Mrs. Hugh Harkey of Albemarle, and one grandchild.Endnotes
