Marriage
Mr. and Mrs. Howard E. Furr, of Kannapolis, announce the mariage of their daughter, Anne Coleen, to John D. Weaver on July 27. The ceremony was perform ed at the home of Rev. Jesse Woodruff, of Mt. Airy. Mr. Weaver is the son of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Weaver, of Warrensville. The couple will be at home at 403 Locust St., Kannapolis.Death
CHINA GROVE — Annie Collen Furr Weaver, 62, of Route 4, died unexpectedly March 11, 1989, at her home. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Carolina Memorial Park, conducted by the Rev. Earl Barringer. The body will remain at Whitley’s Funeral Home in Kannapolis until the graveside service. Born May 10, 1926, in Cabarrus County, Mrs. Weaver was a daughter of the late Howard E. and Mary Troutman Furr. Survivors include a brother, Howard E. Furr Jr. of Mount Pleasant.Endnotes
