Death
Funeral services for Mrs. Harriet Louise Furr Blackwelder, who died at her home in Derita yesterday morning at 8 o'clock, were held this morning at 10 o'clock at Mallard Greek Presbyterian church, with Dr. W. H. Fraser, presidents of Queens-Chicora college, officiating. Burial was made in Forest Hill cemetery in Concord. Pallbearers were grandchildren of Mrs. Blackwelder. Mrs. Blackwelder was born August 31, 1856. She is survived by her husband, Julius A. Blackwelder; a son, John S. Blackwelder, of Derita; a daughter, Mrs. H. R. Linker, of Charlotte; a sister, Mrs. J. R. Woods, of Concord; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.The Charlotte News, Charlotte, North Carolina, December 12, 1933
