On December 8, 2001 at Hospice of Northern Virginia, BILLY FLOYD FURR of Marshall, VA. Son of the late Minnie Harwood Furr and Luther Martin Furr, he is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Shue Furr; sons, Floyd Herman Furr of Woodbridge, VA and Richard Alan Furr of Marshall, VA; sisters, Virginia Gannoway of Locust, NC, Carol Cooper of Concord, NC, Louise Harwood and Edith Cooper, both of Mt. Pleasant, NC; brother, Eugene Furr of Mt. Pleasant, NC. Also survived by four grandchildren. Friends may call Tuesday, December 11, 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. at HARTSELL FUNERAL HOME, Concord, NC, where funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., Rev. Jimmy Barrett, officiating.
