Grandpa Elijah was a Hemophiliac (free bleeder). It is believed that this came from the Tanner side of the family.
This is genetic condition (effecting males) passed through bleeder's daughters to the next generation of males.
Death Certificate lists cause of death as Homicide - Con., of base of brain when in fight.
Buried on June 27, 1929, in West Lawn Cemetery Henryetta, Okmulgee County, Oklahoma. Undertaker was listed as Buchanan of Henryetta, Oklahoma. Elijah is buried in first addition "H", lot 7, west 1/2, middle 1/3. Also, there is an infant baby girl buried next to him. The baby was 14 months old when she died in February, 1922. The lots were purchased by Homer Little at the price of 21 dollars each.
Elijah was working as a Smelter for Eagle Pitcher at the time of his death.
