Death
BURGANS, Mrs. Sara Frances, 75, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, died Monday, July 6, 2009. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 10, 2009 at 10 a.m. from Vernledge Repairer of the Breach Church with Rev. William W. Williams officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Burgans was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Burgans; three sons, Rocky, Allen, and Marty Burgans; her parents, Barney and Celia Furr; a sister, Lula May Burgans; and a brother, Jimmy Furr. She is survived by three children, Randy (Tammy) Burgans, Fanny (Tommy) Willis, and Boty (Jane) Burgans; a nephew that was always there, Rusty King; eight grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; two sisters, Jewel (Alvin) Crook and Faye (Glen) McCarthy; and four brothers, Lamar Furr, J.W. Furr, Douglas Furr, and Howard Furr. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 – 8 p.m.The Greenville Advocate, July 9, 2009
