Death
Ellen Furr Erb Mrs. Erb, 84, of Charlotte, born to Ralph DeWitt Furr and Ethel Kiser Furr, slipped quietly away into her eternal rest early morning on Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Her extended illness kept her close to home for several years, maintaining residence during her last days in the assisted living residence, Emeritus at Eastover. Elllen was a kind, loving wife, mother, mother-in-love, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a good friend who listened and cared. Ellen is survived by her husband of 63 years, Everett E. Erb, Jr.; sons Everett E. Erb, III [Claire], Max D. Erb [Amy]; grandson Terry E Erb [Wini] and grandson Robert J Erb. Great-grandchildren Haven, Lauren, Camden and Ashton Erb. The family extends its gratitude to the staff and caregivers of Emeritus at Eastover and to Hospice and Palliative Care for their wonderful care of our Ellen. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 14 at 10:00 AM at Sharon Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, Charlotte, 1420 E.
