Death
Miss Lois Furr, aged 62, of Locust Bayou died Thursday, June 6, 1985 in a Camden nursing home after a long illness. Miss Furr was born January 10, 1923, the daughter of D.R. and Mattie Hollis Furr. She was a member of the church of Christ. She is survived by two brothers, Buell Furr and Lamar (Dee) Furr of Camden; and four sisters, Mrs. Alta McKay of Locust Bayou, Mrs. Pauline Norris of Marysville, California, Mrs. Sallie Lou Strickland of Hampton, and Mrs. Martha Roslund of Camden and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7th, at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.Endnotes
