Cecilia - A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, May 10, 2019, at Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia for Roger Steven Dejean, 66, who passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at Houston Methodist Baytown. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 9:00 am until time of funeral service. Pastor Randy Rodriguez will officiate at the Funeral Service. Roger was born in Lafayette, LA to the late Leonce Dejean and Ella Marie Furr. He was a manager for Sonny's Seafood for over 18 years. Roger enjoyed spending time with his family, going to the horse races, and watching football. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Campbell Dejean; sons, Jamie Dejean and wife Kim, Roger Dejean and wife Heather, and Randall Dejean and wife Jessica; daughters, Nicole Backer and husband Michael, Rachele Stelly and husband Jason, Natasha Stelly, and Ashley Dejean; and 24 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonce Dejean; mother, Ella Marie Furr; and his sister, Patti Gail Arnold.
